50 Shades of Vegas

Today I said 'Bye bye Hollywood Hills' and 'Hello Las Vegas'!
I spent most of the day in the Megabus bus, which was quite crowded. I was very lucky with the front seat that I had reserved: Out of all seats that could be reserved, the seat next to me was the only one that was empty so I had a little more space to put my stuff. The view from the front of the car was also quite nice and I enjoyed watching the landscape.
As soon as I arrived in my hotel, I unpacked and took a shower. It feels kind of weird to have a whole room just to myself after more than a month of sharing rooms in hostels.
I was ready to go out around 8 PM. Since I wanted to see a 50 Shades of Grey Parody that was supposed to start at 9:30 PM, I quickly went out to buy a ticket. On the way there I got myself a huge slice of pizza for dinner.
The theater was a bit hard to find since everything was really huge and there were things to do and to see almost everywhere. I still managed to get to the theater (which was located in the Hotel Bally's) on time and got a nice seat in the 4rth row.
The play was very entertaining. The actors were singing and dancing while presenting the first book of the series in the context of a bookclub of three middle-aged women. There were a lot of suggestive word plays as well as explicit conversations. One line of the first song that Anastasia sang was for example 'I got a hole in me that needs to be filled'.  The only a little disappointing part of the play was the actor of Christian Grey, since he didn't look as sexy as one might hope. Nevertheless, he was an amazing actor with an amazing voice and his not so perfect appearance together with his rather funny and almost feminine movements added to the parody of the play.
When I left the theater there was still a lot going on in the streets although it was already after 11 PM. I lingered a while to watch the end of a fountain light show before I decided to go back to the hotel.
